Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American performer and actor for more than 20 years. Her most acclaim was in her character Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). She played the leading role Jerrica Jem benton in the movie of 2015 Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. There is also an older sister, Ally. While growing up Aubrey was a part of The Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she delivered the valedictory of the class of 2012. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice after which she accepted her role in Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She was seen in TV films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective and The Good Mother. She was a major player in the Nashville series in which she was Layla Grant. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder in an interview in the spring of 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire included Peeples among the top actors under twenty years old of age in September 2014.
